To be homebound means that leaving home takes considerable and taxing effort.

A person may leave home for medical treatment or short, infrequent absences for non-medical reasons, such as a trip to the barber or to attend religious service.

A need for adult day care doesn't keep you from getting home health care.
The client must need one of the following:

Skilled Nursing

Physical Therapy or
-
Occupational Therapy or
-
Speech Therapy
The client must meet the criteria for home health care coverage approved by Medicare, Medicaid, and other Health Insurance Companies.
Services are delivered on an intermittent basis in the patient's place of residence. Care and treatment is given according to a plan of treatment jointly established by the patient/family, patient's physician and home health staff.
